How to develop motivation?

We often hear how important it is to be motivated to achieve what we set out to do. In psychology and philosophy, motivation implies internal states that direct the organism towards specific goals or ends; They are the impulses that move the person to perform certain actions and persist in them for their completion. Different schools of psychology have different theories about how motivation originates and its effect on behavior.
What things can you do to increase your motivation? For us the first and foremost thing is to know that as human beings we think in images and that when we have a clear image of what we want, the other steps almost come alone. When you are in a state of low motivation it means that the images that are in the mind are not of the goal but of other things, images of distraction. What you need to do immediately is simply change the images. For example, close your eyes and begin to visualize yourself already in possession of the goal. Our body does not move if it does not receive orders from our mind and when we put the images of what we want and we begin to feel excited, the body goes into action. We are used to thinking that we can do everything with our willpower and what moves us really are the images that we put in front of our eyes using the faculty of imagination.IMAGINATION plays a far more important role in our lives than most of us realize. When you read a book, a phrase or watch a movie you can feel motivated that is true and it is also true that this type of motivation is not lasting and one has to know how to continue nurturing motivation.
As it is already mentioned previously imagination is important but it is not to be confused with wishfull thinking. Years ago many athletes started using conscious visualization to improve actual performance.

“Imagination is the most marvelous, miraculous, inconceivably
powerful force the world has ever known”

Napoleon Hill
